In the dying hours of the nighttime, sweet Esther made her entrance into this world. It was an honour to be there to document her first moments earthside and the heart whelming introduction to her three adoring siblings (and two of her grandparents!). Fresh forty-eight sessions give me alllll the happy feels!
Today marks one full lap around the sun for sweet William - how fast that has gone! It was a beautiful, calm morning when he was welcomed into this world - greeted by his parents, big brother and some very doting grandparents.
I adore these fresh forty-eight sessions. They are perfect for c-section births, those first sibling meetings or just to get those fresh moments after birth if you’d prefer to keep the birth private. It may be because I’m 32 weeks pregnant with my second babe, but man - it gets me in all the feels! Especially seeing big brother Thomas nervously meet his little brother at last.
Happy first birthday, William!
One of the most sacred and treasured experiences thus far in my photography career was documenting the birth of baby Judah - my first foray into birth photography. Being invited into such a private and intimate space was an honour and a privilege. Birth is extraordinary - no matter how that perfect little human decides to enter our world. Allanah was strong, fierce and courageous as she birthed her beautiful boy in the dying moments of Easter Saturday. It was a miracle I was able to make it, after photographing a wedding 45minutes from where Allanah was birthing I hit the highway and made it with just over an hour to spare. I will forever treasure the opportunity to be there.
I’m passionate about documenting your birthing journey. If it’s something you’ve considered, please get in touch - I’d love to make it happen. Head to my info page for some more details about the birthing packages I offer.
